Reason Behind Environment Protection Act 1990

It is stated that unauthorised or hazardous depositing, treatment or disposal of these materials is prohibited and offenders are enforced criminal sanctions. It also indicates that manufacturers, carriers, treaters, importers, keepers, and disposers of controlled waste to prevent unauthorised or harmful treatment of such materials. Negligence of this duty is considered a crime.
